I am really beginning to get frustrated with our pallet rack transport companies that we have been using to transport freight for our Jacksonville logistics companies.
We hire different pallet rack transport companies to handle moving our freight all over the country and also to some of our neighboring countries, as well. Most of the time, we don’t have any issues with the people that we hire to do our pallet rack transport. However, when you do this kind of work for a really long time, then once in a while, you end up working with someone who just does not have the same kind of work ethic or values as you or your company. That’s exactly what we have run across lately, unfortunately for us. I have to say that I am getting really frustrated with it. I think I’m going to have to get rid of some of these companies from our list of providers. I never really enjoy firing people or cutting vendors or smaller companies loose when they’ve been working with us for a long time, but I also don’t want to ruin the reputation of our company by using people who aren’t up to our standards. I know that these pallet rack transport companies really need us and our large contracts in order to be able to survive as a company, but when they don’t do the job the correct way, then it’s their own fault if they lose our contract. I think that I’m going to have to do some serious reevaluations this fall when their contracts come up for renewal with us.
