I ended up inheriting my father’s condemned home after he passed away from cancer. I didn’t know what to do with the place. Since it was condemned, it wasn’t usable to me. In order to get everything back into shape, I would have needed to do a lot of upkeep. I was so glad to get it off of my hands and have some money from the sale. It is the way to go for sure. Involving a real estate agent would have been just an unnecessary hassle. Lets not forget that they take a piece of the pie as well. It just was a better move for me in the long run to deal with a cash home buyer.
